"It is essential for kids to stay socially, physically, and academically engaged over the summer," said Omar Irizarry, interim school aged director at the Port Washington Children’s Center. "KidsPort Summer is an amazing way to ensure that. During our summer session, kids are in a welcoming environment at our park side campus and are free to learn from a range of educators during specialty classes and trips, like weekly trips to Whitney Pond Park Pool. We are excited to meet new families and create lasting memories with children this summer."

Irizarry's main reasons for children to get enrolled in KidsPort are: wholesome fun, personal growth, adventure, and memories.
