Nassau House Catches Fire: 1 Hurt

LAKE SUCCESS, NY — At least one person was hurt when a Lake Success home caught fire Tuesday, firefighters said.

The blaze broke out around noon on Horizon Road, near Fairway Drive. Photos posted on social media showed flames shooting out of the roof and garage of the home.

The Manhasset-Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department said all of its companies were sent to the inferno.

"All #mlfd companies currently operating at the scene of a house fire in #lakesuccess," the department wrote in a Facebook post.

At least one person suffered a minor injury, the department told Patch.
