Man's Body Found Near Sands Point Beach, PD Investigating: Officials
Authorities say a Sands Point resident discovered the body on Saturday morning.
SANDS POINT, NY — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a Sands Point beach over the weekend.
Sands Point police said a resident was walking near Plum Beach Point Saturday morning when he discovered the body. The victim was pronounced dead by authorities and appeared to be a man in his 50s, according to police.
An investigation is ongoing.
