More Than Dozen Port Washington Restaurants Compete In 'SOUPer BOWL'

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — While a certain football game is coming up on Feb. 9, you won't have to wait that long for "SOUPer BOWL 2025."

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual culinary event on Feb. 1 at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.

Everyone is invited to taste soups from more than a dozen Port Washington restaurants. Then it's time to vote for your favorite soup! When all ballots are tallied, this year's SOUPer BOWL champ will be crowned. The winner will receive the "People's Choice Award."

Participating restaurants will provide bread and crackers for tasters.

  • Ikedo
  • Lifestyle Cafe
  • Port Washington Diner

  • The Wild Goose
  • Toscanini
  • Yummy Gyro

It runs from noon-3 p.m. Admission is $12 ($6 for children under 6).
