Motorcyclist Killed In Northern State Parkway Crash: State Police
Authorities say a 44-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sunday morning crash on the Northern State Parkway.
ROSLYN, NY — A 44-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday after crashing into a guard rail on the Northern State Parkway, according to authorities.
The fatal crash happened around 7:40 a.m. near westbound Exit 29A in North Hempstead.
New York State Police say Carl Granville, 44 of Rock Hill, was traveling on his 2020 Ducati motorcycle when he "failed to negotiate a curve," left the roadway, and struck the guard rail on the right shoulder.

Granville was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sunday's crash is under investigation, and police are asking anyone with additional information to call 631-756-3300.
