Mysterious Shot Fired In Manhasset: Nassau Police

Police found a spent shell casing on Pond Hill Road after receiving a 911 call about shots fired.

MANHASSET, NY — A mysterious shooting incident occurred on Friday on Pond Hill Road, according to Nassau police.

According to detectives, police responded at 6:40 p.m. to a 911 call for shots fired in the vicinity of 65 Pond Hill Road. There, officers found a dispensed shell casing lying on the ground.

They learned a man fired a gun and then ran away. No injuries were reported.
