The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District (BID) announced the dedication of a new street clock at Blumenfeld Park, made possible through a generous grant from PSEG Long Island and the support of the Town of North Hempstead. This elegant addition to the town park aims to enhance the community's aesthetic appeal while instilling a sense of pride among residents and visitors.

The 4-faced street clock, a timeless piece of craftsmanship, is centrally located at Blumenfeld Family Park on Main Street, Port Washington, strategically positioned to serve as a central meeting point and a symbol of community pride. The initiative reflects BID's commitment to beautifying public spaces and supporting local businesses by attracting more visitors to the area.

The Howard replica-style clock sits 13 feet tall with 4 illuminated clock faces which can be seen from all approaches to the park. The clock is manufactured by Verdin Clock Company whose clocks have been recognized for their craftsmanship, longevity, and elegance. Their street clocks are focal points and gathering places in communities nationwide and grace some of the finest streets in America and now in Port Washington.
