ON THE ROAD...
NASSAU COUNTY
As of 7:51 a.m., the eastbound right shoulder is blocked along the Southern State Parkway at Exit 15 after a truck smashed into a bridge

As of 6:19 a.m., only the HOV lane is open along eastbound I-495 at Exit 36 due to an overturned tractor-trailer

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on NY 109 will shut down one lane in both directions between Fulton Street and Broadhollow Road

Construction on NY 25 will close one lane in both directions between Powells Lane and Hitchcock Lane (North Hempstead), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SUFFOLK COUNTY
As of 6:58 a.m., a disabled vehicle on westbound NY 27 is blocking the right shoulder at Exit 44

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., roadwork on the Southern State Parkway will shut down one lane in both directions between Heckscher State Parkway and Exit 40

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on NY 27 will close one lane in both directions between Baiting Hollow Road and Georgica Road

ON THE LIRR...
As of 9 a.m., trains are running on or close to schedule on all LIRR branches, except the Montauk branch.
Per the LIRR: "The 5:39 a.m. train from Montauk due Long Island City at 8:44 a.m. is now operating 23 minutes late due to equipment trouble."
