Port Outdoors Canceled Due To Inclement Weather: Sept. 9
Rainy weather prompted organizers to cancel Thursday night's edition of Port Outdoors.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Port Outdoors — a weekly event featuring shopping, dining, and live music on Port Washington's Main Street — has been canceled due to inclement weather, officials announced Thursday.
"We regret that we have to cancel tonight's Port Outdoors event," Bobbie Polay, the executive director of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, said. "Remember that take-out, indoor dining, and indoor shopping are great options! The next Port Outdoors will be September 23 on upper Main Street and Port Commons."
The Chamber's series — which runs every Thursday from May to October — began last year. It's organized by the Port Washington Business Improvement District, the Chamber of Commerce, Landmark on Main Street, Residents Forward, and the Port Washington Police District.
