Port Washington Dock Hours Extended; Vandalism Remains Concern
The dock's opening hours had been reduced due to vandalism and prohibited swimming.
MANORHAVEN, NY — The hours of operation at a popular Port Washington dock have been expanded after they were previously reduced due to vandalism and prohibited swimming.
As of Friday, Morgan's Dock in Manorhaven will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The village said the hours will be reduced again if it continues to see vandalism.
Trespassing is forbidden outside of opening hours, and alcohol, swimming, pets and unaccompanied minors under 17 are all prohibited at the dock.
