PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington High School girls tennis team clinched the Nassau County title and is looking for the Long Island championship win Tuesday.

Port Washington Athletic Director Nick Schratwieser told Patch that the Nassau title match "was an incredible win."

"This team worked extremely hard all season with a lot of ups and downs. The girls left it all on the court, and to defeat a well-coached and extremely talented team in Syosset 4-3 was a memory that the girls will have forever.”
