Port Washington-Manhasset Bay Kayak Run Returns July 23
Participants can paddle around the bay at their leisure during this family-friendly event this weekend.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The annual Port Washington-Manhasset Bay Kayak Run returns Saturday, July 23.
The family-friendly event starts at 10 a.m. and launches from the North Hempstead Town Dock or Manorhaven boat ramp in Port Washington. Participants can paddle around the bay at their leisure. Canoes and paddleboards are welcome.
The event is hosted by the Community Chest of Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead. Adults over 20 years of age pay $30 (or $45 if paid on July 22). Young adults and children pay $15 (or $25 if paid on July 22). The storm date is July 24.
