Port Washington School District To Hold Antisemitism Discussion

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington School District is set to host "A Discussion on Antisemitism," an in-person community event, at 7 p.m. Oct. 30, the district announced.

The discussion will be hosted at the Paul D. Schreiber High School Auditorium. The format of the evening will include an introductory large meeting with breakout groups facilitated by district administrators and board trustees present.

"Antisemitism is an issue of deep concern that demands open dialogue and informed discussions," the school district wrote. "The Port Washington School District is committed to making a more concerted effort to continue to educate our students in a manner that will create a connection and build a stronger understanding that hate and acts that resemble hate have no place in our schools or our community."
