Port Washington Sewer Breaks; Crews To Pump All Weekend

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A sewer break in Manorhaven means crews will be pumping through the weekend — including overnight.

Village officials wrote in a Facebook post Friday that sewer work was ongoing on Manorhaven Boulevard between Inwood and Juniper roads. Crews plan to pump all weekend — and throughout the night and early hours — to ensure there are no back-ups.

"We apologize in advance for noise that you will experience this weekend," the village said.

Repairs will then begin at 7 a.m. Monday morning.
