Port Washington Welcomes La Placita Supermarket To Community

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, Feb. 9.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, Feb. 9 to welcome the newest business to the Port Washington Community.

La Placita Supermarket, located at 152 Shore Road, was completely renovated from the inside. It offers a variety of foods for sale, including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh deli, frozen foods and meats.

The celebration welcomed La Placita Supermarket owner Feliz Diaz to the community and wished him much success.

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, local officials, members of the Port Washington Business Improvement District, along with Diaz’s family and staff all attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
