Drivers should expect some lane closures and to be prepared to slow down for the safety of the workers on the site.
The road will be milled and replaced with new asphalt, a material that is a type of mix that factors in for high traffic load and environmental conditions, according to DOT.
According to DOT, the all pavement work will increase safety and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular travel for the next 10 to 12 years.
