Slashing At Manhasset Train Station: 1 Hospitalized, Cops Probing
BREAKING: It happened around 3:45 p.m. Friday, police say.

MANHASSET, NY — Police are investigating after a slashing near the Manhasset train station. Nassau County police were called around 3:42 p.m. Friday for a disturbance near the station, police told Patch.
One person was found with hand cuts that appeared to be caused by a sharp object, police said. The person was rushed to a hospital.
MTA police are also investigating. A spokeswoman for the agency told Patch it appeared to be a stabbing involving two suspects and a single victim inside the Manhasset LIRR Station waiting room. All three knew each other, she said, and MTA police arrested both suspects.

Train service was not affected.

Photos posted on social media showed police officers swarming the station. Blood droplets could also be seen on the train station floor.
