Village of Port North to Discuss PWFD Contract Tuesday

A public hearing is scheduled Tuesday in the Village of Port Washington North regarding a proposed contract with the Port Washington Fire Deaprtment.

The proposed agreement calls for the furnishing of fire protection and emergency medical services within the village from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2013, at a cost to the village of $376,857.

All interested parties will be given an opportunity to speak at the public hearing during the regular monthly meeting which begins at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 71 Old Shore Rd.
