Woman Accused Of DWI With Child In Car In Greenvale

She was arrested Christmas morning.

A Queens woman is accused of driving while intoxicated with a child in the car in Greenvale on Christmas morning.

According to authorities, Luisa M. Santana-Justo, 29, of Woodhaven, was driving a 2015 Nissan southbound on Glen Cove Road and was seen speeding and failing to maintain her driving lane at 1:03 a.m.

Police pulled over the vehicle on Glen Cove Road near Northern Boulevard and determined Santana-Justo was under the influence of alcohol, police say. She had a 30-year-old woman in her front passenger seat and the woman's 11-year-old child was seated in the rear of the car, police say.

The child was released to his mother and police impounded the vehicle. There were no injuries reported.

Santana-Justo was charged with aggravated DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, DWI 1192.3, DWI 1192.2 and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. She will be arraigned in First District Court on Monday.
