$100k Jewelry Store Bust In Prospect Lefferts: NYPD

Two men robbed a jewelry store right before the end of the year, police said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Two thieves stole over $100,000 in jewelry from a Flatbush Avenue jewelry shop, police said.

On Dec. 30 at about 5:30 p.m., the two men went inside a store on Flatbush Avenue near Parkside Avenue, police said.

The two men then stole over $100,000 in jewelry from the 79-year-old owner of the shop, police said, and then fled to parts unknown.

Police released an image of two people they claim are connected to the brazen theft.
