5 Things: March Against Stop and Frisk and Grand Army Plaza Food Truck Rally

Today's photo is yet another good one from last year's Franklin Avenue Kids Day. This year organizers are  through June 20.  

1. You need to meet your neighbors. Head to the  where there will be live music, a hoola hoops performance, street games, crafts a photo booth and food. Between Underhill and Washington, noon to 4 p.m. Free. 

2. You need to take a stand on Stop and Frisk. If you're against it, join other Prospect Heighters at a . Area residents will meet at the Grand Army Plaza subway stop at 1:30 p.m. and travel to Manhattan for the rally, which begins at 3. 

3. You need lobster rolls. Head to Grand Army Plaza for the monthly , where more than a dozen gourmet mobile restaurants converge from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

4. You need to celebrate Father's Day with the kids. 5. You need to know if your train is running ... and if you have to move your car. There are no planned subway service changes affecting Prospect Heights all weekend, according to the MTA. As for parking, try to grab a Tues/Fri spot today, because alternate side parking rules won't be suspended again be until Wednesday, July 4, according to the NYCDOT.
