96-Year-Old Man In Wheelchair Shot In Crown Heights: NYPD
The man was sitting across the street from the shooter when a bullet hit him in the ankle, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A nonagenarian in a wheelchair was shot in a broad daylight shooting Monday, police said.
The 96-year-old was sitting in his wheelchair near Bergen Street and Rochester Avenue about 9:30 a.m. when he took a bullet to the ankle, police said.
First responders brought the victim to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The suspected shooter took off on foot towards the direction of the nearby Kingsboro Houses, police said, and no arrests had been made as of 4:20 p.m. Monday.
