Video: Man Beats Boy With Crutch In Attack Near Prospect Park
Disturbing video shows a man racing across a Brooklyn street with his crutch raised over his head to attack a 12-year-old boy, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A man who beat a young boy with a metal crutch in an unprovoked attack near Prospect Park remains on the loose nearly a week later, police said Wednesday.
The man attacked the 12-year-old boy at the corner of Saint Paul's Place and Saint Paul's Court in Prospect Park South just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.
Disturbing video shows the man running across the street with his crutch raised over his head before slamming the down with enough force to bend it.

Police said the attacker then fled north on Saint Paul's Place.
The boy was taken to a nearby urgent care center where he was treated for minor head injuries, police said.

Police described the suspect as having a beard and wearing a black inter hat, a black jacket with a yellow hood, blue jeans and black sneakers.
