Crown Heights Blaze Injures Firefighter, FDNY Says

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A firefighter was hurt battling a second-alarm fire that ripped through a Crown Heights building Tuesday morning, the FDNY said.

The fire erupted inside 2109 Pacific St. near Saratoga Avenue just before 8:20 a.m., said the FDNY.

It took firefighters almost an hour to battle the flames that spread across the second and third floors, according to the FDNY.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to Kings County Hospital.
