Crown Heights Fire Injures One: FDNY

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A person received minor injuries from an early evening Crown Heights fire, officials said.

At just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, officials said a fire broke out on the third floor of a four-story building at 1398 Lincoln Pl., near Utica Avenue.

Sixty firefighters responded to the all-hands call, and the blaze was under control within 40 minutes, according to the FDNY.

One person received a minor injury, officials told Patch.

Fire officials would not confirm reports that flames were seen shooting out of windows or that residents were fleeing on the fire escapes.
