Crown Heights Stabbing Suspect Still On The Loose A Year Later
Police have released new video footage of the person suspected of stabbing Carlos Rawlins on Lincoln Place in April 2020.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are asking the public's help to find the suspect in a fatal Crown Heights stabbing, who is still on the loose more than a year after the killing.
The NYPD released video Wednesday of the person they believe is connected to the death of Carlos Rawlins, a father of three who was found stabbed near his home on Lincoln Place one April night in 2020, according to police and reports.
Family told the New York Post at the time that Rawlins was sitting on a stoop near Lincoln Place and Ralph Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on April 21 when he got into an argument with another man.

Police later found him unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the chest and rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead, according to police.
Police did not specify whether the video— which shows the suspect in an apparent argument with another person, who he punches in the face — is from the attack on Rawlins or another time.
