Daylight Saving Time Ends, Giving Us an Extra Hour of Sleep
Don't forget to set your clocks back before you go to bed tonight.

With all the misery that has come from Superstorm Sandy, here's one nice perk to cap off the week.
Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. So everyone gets an extra hour of sleep (except those of us with young children, of course, who usually have trouble convincing the crying baby that wake-up time is now later).
So, don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed tonight.

This is also the time to change the batteries on your fire and carbon monoxide alarms.
In the U.S., clocks are turned forward an hour on the second Sunday in March for Daylight Saving Time and back an hour to standard time on the first Sunday in November.
