CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are asking the public's help to find three suspects behind a hate crime in Crown Heights earlier this month.

The three men fired an unknown projectile out of their Hyundai Sonata at a man in traditional Jewish garb near Montgomery Street and Albany Avenue on October 11, according to police.

The attack, which unfolded around 10:30 p.m., was caught on surveillance video. It is being investigated by the NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with a laceration to his head, police said.

Police also released surveillance video of the suspect and the dark-colored Hyundai Sonata, which they said has silver wheels.

The suspects are described as being between 20 and 30 years old. One was last seen wearing a blue sweater and beige pants, another was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and yellow shoes and the third was last seen in a red hooded sweater, black pants and black/white sneakers, according to police.
