Jurassic Mini-Golf Returns To Brooklyn Children's Museum For Summer

Little Brooklynites can putt among giants this summer as jurassic mini-golf returns for the summer "by popular demand."

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Jurassic mini-golf is back for a second summer by "popular demand," allowing Brooklyn's littlest to putt-putt among giants, museum leadership announced last week.

The rooftop mini golf greens opened at Brooklyn Children's Museum on July 8 among massive statues of dinosaurs perched on rocks, roaming grass and busting out of their eggs.

The 9-hole course will remain open through September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday — the museum's regular hours. Young athletes will grab their clubs on a first-come, first-served basis until the last tee time at 4:30 p.m.

"Don’t fear the prehistoric beasts (they are friendly), nor the scorching summer sun (a rooftop canopy provides shade)," museum representatives said.

Last year, over 4,000 golfers took up their clubs amongst the dinosaurs. In its second year, over 300 people came to play opening weekend, with far more coming just to hang out with the prehistoric friends.
