Late-Night Q Train Delays All This Week

Passengers must switch trains at Atlantic Avenue between 11:45 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Friday.

If you take the Q train after midnight beware: weeknights through Dec. 21, your trip could take up to 30 minutes longer.

Between 11:45 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Friday Dec. 10 - 14  and  Dec. 18 - 21, trains run every 30 minutes between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Stillwell Avenue and Stillwell Avenue in both directions.

This means that  the train will drop you at the D/R platform on the Pacific Street side. Then you walk to the Q platform on the Atlantic side (or vice versa for Manhattan-bound) and wait for the next leg, which could take up to 30 minutes.

You're probably better off walking home (with a Brooklyn Bike Patrol escort) or switching to the 2/3 at Atlantic, because trust me, at midnight, waiting for the next leg feels like forever.
