BROOKLYN, NY — Police are asking the public's help to find a man who pushed a person onto the subway tracks earlier this week, landing him in the hospital with a broken arm.

The man — who police have released surveillance footage of — pushed the 22-year-old man onto the tracks after punching him while the two stood on an Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center platform just before 9 a.m. on Monday, according to police.

The 22-year-old suffered a fractured left arm and wrist, lacerations to his knee and bruising on the other knee, police said. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

His attacker fled on a northbound Q train after the incident, police said.
