The Daily News reported the Halloween party was held in a rental space above a restaurant equipment shop.

"It’s a beautiful spot," a cleaner told the Daily News. "People come and they try to have a good time. It’s not a bad place — but there’s always a bad apple in the bunch."

St. John's father told the Daily News he was grieving his loss.

“It’s my son and I lost him,” St. John's father reportedly said. “I’m hurting.”
