Person Hit By Train At Jay Street-MetroTech Station: MTA
A person was hit by a train at the Downtown Brooklyn station on Thursday afternoon, changing routes between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

BROOKLYN, NY — A person was hit by a train at Jay Street on Thursday, according to the MTA.
The person was struck by the train at the Jay Street-MetroTech station in Downtown Brooklyn just before 12:30 p.m., according to MTA alerts and the FDNY.
They were brought to Methodist Hospital, fire officials said.

The incident caused R trains to be switched to the Q line between Canal Street in Manhattan and Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn.
They resumed their regular route shortly before 2 p.m., according to the MTA. Transit officials said straphanger should still expect delays along the B, D, N, Q and R lines.
