CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are asking the public's help to find a person of interest in the double shooting that killed a Crown Heights mom earlier this month.

Cops released photos of the person of interest over the weekend, saying that he was wanted to questioning in connection to the homicide, which unfolded Aug. 19 on St. Johns Place.

The shooting killed 54-year-old Limose Thomas, who was shot in the chest, and injured a 30-year-old man, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A GoFundMe has been set up for Thomas' family to help pay for funeral expenses. Police have said she was likely not the intended target of the shooting, which happened as she was walking to her doorstep on the way home from work, according to police and reports.
