PLG Building Has Early Morning Electrical Fire: FDNY

A Parkside Avenue building had an electrical fire quenched by firefighters, officials said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — An electrical fire inside a Prospect Lefferts Gardens building building brought a handful of FDNY trucks to Parkside Avenue early Wednesday morning, officials said.

At about 2:20 a.m., an electrical fire inside 225 Parkside Ave., between Parkside Court and Flatbush Avenue, was first reported to the fire department, according to FDNY officials.

The response brought three fire engines and two trucks to the block, where they quickly brought the fire under control within 20 minutes, officials said.

An FDNY spokesperson said that there were no injuries reported.
