Police Arrest Man For Setting Fire To Bus With Jewish Symbols

The bus was featured in a popular music video about Jewish pride.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Authorities have arrested and charged a man who they say set fire to a bus that was featured in a popular music video about Jewish pride.

Jackson Joseph, 30, who lives in East New York, was arrested and charged with arson and criminal mischief on Monday just before 7 a.m., police said.

The bus, painted in bright colors and filled with Jewish symbols, was sitting on the corner of Maple Street and Troy Avenue in June when it was torched, causing significant damage, authorities said. A GoFundMe page raised nearly $4,000 to "recover the bus."
