Police Arrest Man Wanted For 4 Brooklyn Rape Attempts Within Hours
Authorities say 19-year-old Dennis Ofuoma was behind the attacks.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Authorities have arrested the man who they say was behind four recent attempted rapes within hours of each other earlier this month in Crown Heights.
Police took 19-year-old Dennis Ofuoma, who lives in the Bronx, to jail in connection with the crimes, the NYPD said. He was charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of sex abuse and one count of harassment, according to police.
On the night of July 12 and into the early morning of July 13, Ofuomo followed four different women to their apartment buildings, according to police.

He walked up behind them and tried to rape them, but all four women were able to fight him off, police said.
The NYPD had released new surveillance video of him over the weekend in an effort to help identify him.
