CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — Police arrested a 20-year-old for brutally beating a man with a cane and slicing his arm open in Crown Heights, authorities said Friday.

Cops cuffed Devon Delacruz for the Sept. 24 attack that began with an argument in the Utica Avenue station. A disgruntled Delacruz allegedly tailed the victim out of the subway to the corner of Schenectady Avenue and Eastern Parkway where he bashed the man with a cane several times, police said.

Delacruz allegedly whipped out a knife and slashed the victim's left arm before he fled the bloody scene north on Schenectady Avenue. The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition, said authorities.
