Reprieve! Q-Train is Running this Weekend, Thanks to the Snow
MTA cancels service changes due to expected storm.
One more reason to love the snow:
Thanks to the , the Metropolitan Transit Authority has canceled most of its planned track work, meaning the Q Train will be running to and from Manhattan this weekend.
Since January 7, there hasn’t been a Q train for at Seventh Avenue on the weekends. Instead the MTA has been running a shuttle bus from the Seventh Avenue Station to Atlantic, where you could pick up the N or R (or south to Prospect Park, the Q train still runs from there to Coney Island).

But this weekend we will have our blessed train, though we might pay for it with an additional Q-less weekend later.
