Robbers Seek Ice Cream, Punch And Kick Deli Workers: NYPD
The suspected thieves left empty handed after pummeling two employees, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A group of would-be robbers didn't 'scream' for ice cream, but they did brutally kick and punch two innocent deli workers in an attempt to get their hands on the sweet stuff, police said.
On Friday Dec. 2 at just before 1:30 p.m., a small group of unidentified men entered a deli at the corner of Lincoln Place and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights and began kicking and punching two male workers inside the store, police said.
During the melee, the group of men attempted to remove ice cream and a cellphone, but ultimately left empty-handed, police said.

The two store workers, aged 47 and 49, refused medical attention, officials said, and the three men remain on the go.
Police have released photos of three individuals connected to the attempted robbery ask that anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
