Taste of Franklin Avenue Festival Returns This Saturday
Taste of Franklin Avenue Festival will be held on May 18 from 2 to 6 p.m.

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY — An annual food festival on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights will return this Saturday.
Tastes of Franklin Avenue festival, a combined food and drink crawl, will start at 2 p.m. and will run from Lincoln Place to Prospect Place on Franklin Avenue.
Tickets, which can be purchased online here, are $40 for four "tastes" at participating restaurants and $115 for 12 "tastes."

The day will also include a block party for local families and a healthy food market for kids.
Proceeds from Saturday's event will benefit local businesses and Seeds in the Middle, a local charity that fights food insecurity by empowering and educating students and schools on healthy and sustainable food consumption.

Tastes of Brooklyn's work also supports 18 central Brooklyn schools with overcoming food insecurity and boosting student achievement.
Participating restaurants include Arden, Barboncino Pizza, Brooklyn Suya, The Canary, Canela Cafe Bar, Cent'Anni, The Crown Inn, Endless Life Brewing and Gueros, among others. The full list of participating restaurants can be found here.
