Video: Suspect Linked to Series of Crown Heights Burglaries
The break-ins took place between June 3 and June 17, according to the NYPD.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are still looking for a man (pictured above) believed to be behind eight recent burglaries in Crown Heights.
The break-ins took place between June 3 and June 17, according to the NYPD, with most occurring on Carroll Street. Here's the breakdown:

1) On June 3 between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., the suspect entered a home on the 1200 block of Union Street and stole $600 in cash, as well as an Apple laptop.
2) On June 4, the suspect entered a home on the 1400 block of Carroll Street and stole coins, a bracelet and earnings.

3) On June 7, baseball cards, the key to a motor vehicle, a credit card and other items were taken from a home on the 1300 block of Carroll Street.
4) On the afternoon of June 9, another home on the 1200 block of Carroll Street was targeted, the suspect making off with bags, electronics, a pair of Nike Jordan sneakers and jewelry.
5) On June 13, a Go Pro camera and an Xbox were taken from the 1300 block of Carroll Street.
6) One day later, on June 14, the suspect nabbed an HP laptop, a Mac Book, a fit bit and cash from a home on the 700 block of Empire Boulevard.
7) On June 16, the suspect entered a home on the 1200 block of Carroll Street, but nothing was stolen.
8) And finally, on June 17, sneakers, a watch, a Sony Playstation and an Xbox were stolen from a home on the 1400 block of Carroll Street.

Anyone with information on these burglaries can confidentially report it via the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers website or by anonymously calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

The break-ins took place in the NYPD's 71st Precinct. According to official police statistics, through June 19, major crimes in the 71st were collectively down about 13.5 percent compared to the same time period last year.
And despite the rash of burglaries listed above, a total of 71 had been reported through June 19, compared to 92 during the previous year.
