Watch: Man Steals Bike From Crown Heights Basement

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Authorities are searching for a man who they say stole a bicycle from the basement of a Crown Heights apartment building earlier this month.

Some time between 8 a.m. on Friday, August 18 and 11 p.m. Saturday, August 19, the man got into the building on St. Johns Place and Rogers Avenue, police said.

He gained entry through an unlocked door on the roof, then went all the way down to the building's basement, police said.

That's where he found the Dawes bicycle, took it and fled, according to police.
