Just when you thought you'd seen all there was of Anthony Weiner, a new interview is set to show you a lot more. 

The former congressman and mayoral candidate gave a wide-ranging interview published in The New York Times Magazine this week, in which he confirmed that he's thinking about a political comeback.

The article profiles both Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, and how they've adjusted to the changes in their lives since Weiner's scandal and resignation in 2011.

For his part, Weiner seems ready to open a new chapter of his life.

“We have been in a defensive crouch for so long,” he told the Times. “We are ready to clear the decks on this thing.” 

The article also focused on Weiner's role as a parent. is now more than a year old. 

At the end of the day, the political junkies are only interested in one thing: is he going to run or not? Weiner, during the interview, confirmed that he is interested, but still undecided. At one point in the piece, Weiner poses the question to himself:

"am I still the same person who I thought would make a good mayor?”
