Woman Dies, Man Hurt In Double Crown Heights Shooting: Cops

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A woman died and a man was injured after a double shooting on St. Johns Place last week, according to police.

Emergency responders found the 54-year-old woman, shot in the chest, and the 30-year-old man, shot in the arm, just after 8:30 p.m. on Thursday between Rochester and Buffalo avenues, police said.

They were both taken to Kings County Hospital, where the woman succumbed to her injuries. The man was in stable condition, police said.

There were no arrests in the shooting as of Monday morning.
