Woman Groped on Eastern Parkway

A 28-year-old woman was walking toward Grand Army Plaza on Eastern Parkway on Nov. 12 at 12:20 p.m. when someone came up behind her, grabbed her breast. The perpetrator ran away when the woman screamed for help. She had no injuries.

Halloween Purse Swipes 

Two purses were nabbed on Halloween from Halloween revelers.

A 24-year-old woman reported that someone snatched her bag from a hook at the bar at Barboncino on Franklin Avenue between St. Johns and Lincoln places around 9:30 p.m. She lost $306 worth of property including a wallet and cell phone.

Then, at about midnight, someone snatched a bag at a bar on Washington Avenue between Prospect and Park places from another 24-year-old woman, who said the bag was right beside her. She lost $1,005 worth of property including a necklace, iPod, cell phone, video camera and wallet.

 

Scooter Theft

A 29-year-old man reported that his 2003 Honda scooter worth $5,500 was stolen from the street on Washington Avenue between Bergen and St. Marks on Nov. 3 between 5 and 9 p.m.
