1,000th Burlington Store Opens In Queens: See Where
The new store is located inside a new development with a Five Below and soon-to-open Target.

QUEENS, NY - Deal seekers and bargain enthusiasts, look no further.
Discount retailer Burlington will be opening its newest store in Astoria on Friday at 8:45 a.m., complete with a ribbon-cutting, free giveaways and opening weekend deals.
Located at 22-13 31st St., a new development near the Ditmars Boulevard station with a Five Below and soon-to-open Target, the new store marks Burlington’s 63rd New York store and 1,000th nationwide.

“This is a significant milestone for Burlington as a growing discount retailer offering customers amazingly low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores, said in a statement. “This new Astoria location marks our 1,000th store and we look forward to continuing to offer local customers the chance to discover great deals on a wide range of products each and every day.”
The New Jersey-based deals chain offers mens, womens and kids’ apparel and accessories, footwear, electronics, baby goods, home decor and pet care items in store and online.

Weekend freebies include a free Burlington recycled tote bag for the first 1000 customers at the new store on Friday; a $10 bonus card for the first 500 customers ages 18 and up on Friday and Saturday and a free branded umbrella for the first 50 customers on Sunday.
To celebrate its grand opening, Burlington will also be donating $5,000 to P.S. 84 Steinway Elementary School through their partnership with national nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org, which provides students in a local high-need school with classroom materials. The presentation of the donation to the local school community will take place at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Now through Thanksgiving Weekend, Burlington customers who purchase a coat in-store will receive a 10% off a future purchase from Dec. 1 to 15. Burlington will also match the first 50,000 coats purchased to help local communities this winter, a store rep said.
Store hours will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.
