12-Year-Old Girl Shot In NYC Street Brawl: NYPD
A violent fracas Wednesday evening along a Jamaica street left the girl, 12, and two other women bloodied and stabbed, police said.

QUEENS, NY — A 12-year-old girl was shot amid a chaotic street brawl in Queens that left two other women bloodied and stabbed, police said.
The fight erupted Wednesday evening between a large group of people along 160th Street in Jamaica near Tuskegee Airmen Way, authorities said.
At least one shooter opened fire about 7:45 p.m. and shot the preteen in her left arm, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Medics rushed the girl to Cohen Children's Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
Two women — ages 18 and 26 — also were injured in the melee and later listed in stable condition at a local hospital, authorities said.

The 26-year-old woman suffered a stab wound in her chest, while the 18-year-old had injuries to her head and face, police said.
The incident remained under investigation Thursday morning, and no arrests had been reported, authorities said.
