2 Injured Including Firefighter In 5-Alarm Queens Fire

QUEENS, NY — Two people were injured, including a firefighter, after a five-alarm fire spread to four homes on a block in Richmond Hill Monday night.

The fire started at a home on 108th Street around 10:50 p.m., the FDNY said.

More than 200 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene. The fire rose to five alarms by midnight.

The blaze spread to the home's upper level and to three other homes nearby.

The injured resident and firefighter are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
