2 Wounded In Double Shooting In Queens, Police Say

What led up to the shooting is not known at this time.

QUEENS, NY — Two people were injured in a double shooting in Queens over the weekend, police said.

The incident happened inside a home on 16th Road in Whitestone around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers found a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left arm, and a 49-year-old woman who was suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and torso.

Both people were taken to a local hospital in stable condition for treatment.
